We’re Not Your Average Orthodontists

See why choosing us for your smile is the best choice.

Expert Training

Any general dentist who graduates from dental school and holds a license to practice dentistry can treat patients with braces or Invisalign.

But, to be called an “orthodontist” you have to be trained for another 2-3 years in a full-time specialty course at an accredited orthodontic residency program.

Dr. Rozheh Babaan and Dr. Milton Chan are trained orthodontists. Orthodontists are dentists who undergo years of additional specialized training. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists.

To practice orthodontics, Dr. Chan and Dr. Babaan spent 11 years in training, including four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontic residency.

The orthodontic student spends years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.

Dr. Chan took this even further by passing rigorous written and practical examinations to earn special certification with the American Board of Orthodontics.

You want an expert to give you a new smile—not from aligners you get in the mail.

Personal Service

From the moment you contact our office to your final retainer check appointment, our goal at Pasadena Orthodontics is your complete satisfaction.

Dr. Chan and Dr. Babaan will review your photos and X-rays to find the best way to treat your individual needs.

Then you’ll choose the type of braces you want - traditional metal, clear ceramic, or clear aligners (like Invisalign and Clarity Aligners). Our goal at Pasadena Orthodontics is not just to give you the smile of your dreams - we want you to leave our office after every appointment knowing that you got the best possible care.

Why Choose Us

Comfortable Treatments

Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.

With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.

At Pasadena Orthodontics, we take pride in making the process of straightening your teeth as comfortable as possible.

Convenient Location

Pasadena Orthodontics was designed with our patients in mind, so your orthodontic check-ups are never out of the way!.  We never overbook our patients and strive to see you at your scheduled appointment time, every time.

Our Pasadena office is conveniently located in the heart of the city, right near Old Pasadena. With a variety of shopping and dining options in the area, a visit to Pasadena Orthodontics will always fit into your schedule!

Flexible Payments

Everyone loves medical offices that offer flexible appointments and flexible treatment options, but we also offer flexible payment options.

After we’ve determined your insurance coverage and filed everything for you, we'll sit down and come up with a monthly payment plan that fits your family’s budget.

Modern Techniques

Dr. Chan and Dr. Babaan are up-to-date on the latest in orthodontic treatment and braces technology.

Pasadena Orthodontics is your Pasadena location for modern orthodontic treatment. We use the state-of-the-art iTero Element Scanner, which eliminates the need for unpleasant traditional goopy impressions.

With our iTero Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed, 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is an iTero Element digital scan far more comfortable than the old putty-based impressions, but it’s faster and provides more precise images.

We offer aesthetic options like ceramic braces and clear aligners like Invisalign and Clarity Aligners. We also use mini implants and diode laser for faster and more efficient tooth movement and faster treatment times.

Start Your Treatment the Same Day

The orthodontic treatment process involves a series of orthodontic visits.

Once you feel like we've answered all of your questions and concerns, you can start your treatment the very same day.

We value your time, and we know you want to make the most of your visit. Dr. Chan and Dr. Babaan and the team at Pasadena Orthodontics are ready to help you start your smile transformation today.
